$86 MILLION TO BE SPENT BY ECONOMIC COMMUNITY OF CENTRAL AFRICAN STATES TO FIGHT BOKO HARAM

Representatives of 10 african nations under the aegis of EconomicCommunity of Central African States (ECCAS} met in Yaounde, capital of Cameroon to finalise plans for a military offensive against BokoHaram fighters in Nigeria and neighbouring countries.
They have commited to spend $86million.
Hamid Alami, Secretary General of ECCAS said the session was historic because they must use the funds to respond to the babaric acts of Boko Haram.
The 10 countries that make up ECCAS are,  Angola, Burundi, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, DR Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Sao Tome and Principe, Republic of the Congo.
