ADULTERY IN SOUTH KOREA NO LONGER A LEGALISED CRIME

The 60 year old statute outlawing adultery which required violators facing up to two years imprisonment has been struck out by South Korea's Constitutional Court.
A 7 to 2 rule by nine member bench says the 1953 law is unconstitutional. They say though it is immoral, state power should not intervene in individual private lives.
