AUTHENTIC: INEC POSTPONES NIGERIA'S ELECTION

The independent National Electoral Commission of Nigeria through its chairman, Attahiru Jega announced on Saturday at a press conference that the presidential and legislative elections have been shifted to March 28th and 11th April, 2015 respectively.
This became necessary because security advisers and intelligence officers have said that the security forces need six weeks in order to conduct major operation against Boko Haram insurgents in order to guarantee the safety of the voters, electoral personnel, materials and observers.
