This middle class couple, Katrina Smith,62 and Alan Lane,71 who look like they are about to go on a holiday are actually living in Heathrow airport.

That is their reality. They are sleeping rough at the heathrow airport after losing their 500,000 pounds home in Pole Dorset.

Alan and Katrina who have been together for 28 years found themselves homeless after a string of bad decisions.

They sent emails to almost 100 charities, Almshouses, housing associations, not even their local council could help them find a home.

They had no choice than to live at heathrow airport when their welfare system failed them.

Now their story has been made public we hope something fast be done to get them a home. Nobody wants their grand parents experiencing this type of stress at their age.
