FOUR NIGERIAN BANKS RANKED AMONG 500 BANKING BRANDS IN THE WORLD

First Bank of Nigeria; Guaranty Trust Bank; Zenith Bank Plc and Access Bank have been ranked among top 500 banking brands in the world by a new report from a United Kingdom based magazine owned by Financial Times, The Banker and Brand Finance in their 2015 listing. First Bank was placed as the best banking brand in Nigeria.
Mr. Kunle Ogedengbe, the magazine representative in Nigeria said First Bank improved on their position of being number 382 in 2014 to  336 in 2015 while Zenith Bank moved from 453 in 2014 to 417 in 2015 and Guaranty Trust Bank moved from 422 in 2014 to 417 in 2015.
Access Bank successfully made its first entry into the top 500 brands this year, 2015.
Wells Fargo of United States retained its position as the best banking brand in the world.
