MIKE OMERI: ISIS RECRUITING AND RADICALISING AFFLUENT NIGERIAN KIDS

The Federal Government on thursday revealed that ISIS militants are radicalising and recruiting children of wealthy Nigerians through the Social media.

According to the Daily times, this was made known by  the Director General of the National Orientation Agency, Mike Omeri, at a routine briefing at National Information Centre, Abuja.
Omeri said

" The Centre wishes to alert the nation of intelligence reports indicating the radicalization of our youths through social media and a variety of other sources.
The reports show that these youths, who are mostly children of the rich and affluent are being recruited into ISIS.
We therefore call all parents and guardians especially those whose wards are scholling abroad, to closely monitor the activities of these students who may be susceptible to the antics of promoters of the ISIS ideology"
