UPDATE ON US OIL WORKER'S STRIKE: NEW OFFER REJECTED BY US OIL WORKER'S AS STRIKE ENTERS DAY SIX

You remember we told you that US oil workers were on strike. Well the strike has entered its sixth day and the USW on thursday rejected a new three year contract covering about 30,000 US workers in the oil industry.
This is the sixth proposal by Shell which has been rejected by United Steel Workers (USW) in order to set the pattern for a nationwide contract with Exxon Mobil, BP, Marathon and other oil giants.
Oil workers in US have long faced declining living standards, exhausting and dangerous working conditions with increasing growth of contract and temporary low paid workers.
We really hope that this is sorted quickly with all parties happy with the proposal that is eventually accepted.
