AIR CANADA AIRBUS A320 'CRASHES' ON THE RUNWAY

An Air Canada passenger jet, an Airbus A320 the same type as the Germanwings airbus crashed by Andrea Lubitz is said to have exited the runway and slammed into a power pylon shortly after arriving Halifax airport.

Air Canada has confirmed the incidence saying 22 people have been taken to hospital.

An account from a passenger on the plane says that there was bad weather which reduced visibility and the pilot had to circle for a while and then went in  for the landing when he saw a break in the weather.
