Justice James Tsoho ruled that Ibinabo's election was conducted against a court order restraining the conduct of the AGN election and that all the parties involved should return to status quo.
Nollywood actor Emeka Ike was the first to institute a suit against Ibinabo's election as President of AGN, however the ruling sacking Ibinabo was based on the lawsuit filed by AGN Treasurer, St. Maradona Mikevine.
Meanwhile the National Executive Council of the Actors Guild of Nigeria has released a statement saying that Ibinabo will remain the President of AGN while the council files an appeal against the ruling sacking her as President.
