CRISTIANO RONALDO UNSTOPPABLE AS HE SETS NEW EUROPEAN GOALS RECORD

Cristiano Ronaldo on Tuesday set a new record for goals in European competition.
Cristiano scored two times for Real Madrid in their match against Schalke on Tuesday to set a new record of 78 goals in European championship.
Ronaldo scored first in the 25th minute with a header from a corner from Tony Kroos. This put the game at Real Madrid 1- Schalke 1.
With the first goal, Ronaldo equaleed the record of 77 goals in  European championship held by Real striker Raul.
Klaas Jan Huntelaar however put Schalke in the lead making it a 2-1 advantage for Schalke. Ronaldo yet again equalised for a second time just before the break to make his total European goal 78 thereby setting a new record.

This goal also got Ronaldo equalling Champions League goal total of 75 held  by Lionel Messi.
Real Madrid won the first leg against Schalke  held in Gelsenkirchen by 2-0
