Sierra Leoneans are expected to stay indoors from Friday, 27th March to Sunday, March 29 . On three consecutive Saturdays of April 4, 11 and 18, Sierra Leoneans are expected to stay indoors from 6am to 6pm.
President Koroma said Sierra Leone has made tremendous progress in the fight against ebola as the Ministry of Health has reported zero new infections since Friday but warned the citizens that infections might increase during the rainy season.
President Bai Koroma said in a statement to citizens of Sierra Leone, "The economic development of our country and the lives of our people continue to be threatened by the ongoing presence of Ebola in Sierra Leone. The future of our country and the aspirations of our children are at stake"
