Emenike was extremely upset when fans jeered after losing a ball during the first half. He angrily took off his shirt and stormed off the pitch asking to be subsituted but was later talked back on by his coaching staff.
Emenike was however replaced at half-time.
Senegalese striker, Moussa Sow who scored the only winning goal for Fenerbahce said, "Emenike is very worried. Our fans should raise him up". "Our fans should support him. We need him for the title. This season has been tough for Emenike. He would like to contribute to the team" " He is very eager for success like us but our fans want us towin games- they are aware of this season's importance"
Emmanuel Emenike rejoined Fenerbahce in 2013 and has managed to score only four goals in 22 league appearances this season for Fenerbahce.
