MANCHESTER UNITED: DANNY WELBECK COMES BACK TO HAUNT MAN UTD AT FA QUARTER FINAL

Former Manchester United star, Danny Welbeck on Monday came back to haunt his old club MAN UTD as he slotted in the winning goal for Arsenal his current club at the FA quarter finals.

Arsenal defeated Manchester United by 2-1.

Danny Welbeck quickly capitalised on a mistake by Antonio Valencia to slot in the winning goal just after the hour mark.

Manchester United had a real disappointing day as Argentine International, Angel Di Maria was given the red card for manhandling the referee, Michael Olivier.

Arsenal will now play the semi final match with either Reading or Bradford City depending on which of them wins the quarter final match slated for monday.
