MUHAMMAD ALI RECEIVES PRINCE CHARLES AND DUCHESS CAMILLA TO LOUISVILLE WITH A LETTER

Muhammad Ali welcomed Prince Charles and his wife, Duchess Camilla with a letter when they visited his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky on Friday. The letter was read out by the Mayor of Louisville during their visit to Kentucky Centre for African American.

 Parts of the letter said,
"As you travel back to your homeland, we hope you know how much this city respects and admires the many contributions you have made in the world"
Muhammad Ali also appreciated the fact that Prince Charles used his visit to highlight concern for the environment, "sustainable initiatives that are so close to your hearts", Ali wrote.

Continuing, Muhammad Ali wrote, "Louisville prides itself on being a compassionate city and we are confident that you will leave feeling a sense of our southern hospitality, caring for the environment, and yes- our love of college basketball."
Muhammad Ali ended the letter with "we think you are the greatest"

Prince Charles and his wife Duchess Camilla arrived the United States on Tuesday. During their tour, they visited Lincoln Memorial and Martin Luther King Jr. memorial.
On Thursday, Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla met with President Obama before heading to Muhammad Ali's hometown of Louisville, Kentucky on Friday.
