NIGERIA CLOSES ITS BORDERS AHEAD OF SATURDAY'S PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS


Nigeria has closed its land and sea borders ahead of the Presidential elections coming up on Saturday, 28th March 2015.

According to Interior Minister, Patrick Abba Moro, intelligence reports showed that foreigners were planning to cross to Nigeria to vote.

Both the Presidential and Parliamentary polls are expected to be keenly contested.

Statements from Nigerian Government said borders will be shut from midnight Wednesday to midnight Sunday, local time.

This is to ensure peaceful elections.
