PRESIDENT GOODLUCK JONATHAN SAYS "I WILL RETURN TO OTUOKE IF I LOSE"

President Goodluck Jonathan of Nigeria says that in the event that he loses the Presidential elections coming up on March 28, he will go back to his home town in Otuoke in Bayelsa State but he does not think that he will lose.
President Goodluck Jonathan made these statements to Qatar based  television station Aljazeera on Monday.
President Jonathan said he was not afraid of the APC  Presidential Candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari as he has performed well as  the current President and based on that will win the elections.
When President Jonathan was asked if he stepped up operations against Boko Haram recently based on the fact that he might lose the elections based on the current state of insecurity in Nigeria, President Goodluck Jonathan said the delay in tackling the insurgents was because the military didnot have the necessary weapons to handle the situation previously but new weapons have been procured hence the renewed vigour to wipe out the insurgents.
