31 year old Trevor made his debut with aims at racial tensions in United States saying, "I never thought I'd be more afraid of police in America than in South Africa"
Trevor, a comedian who is currently on tour in Dubai spoke to New York Times on his appointment, "you dont believe it for the first few hours, you need a stiff drink and then unfortunately you're in a place where you can't get alcohol".
Jon Stewart who anchored the show for 16 years says he is thrilled for the show and Trevor as he describes Trevor as a tremendous comic and talent whom he has loved working with.
Africans especially South Africans are thrilled at this.
