THAILAND: WOMEN CAUGHT POSTING "UNDERBOOB SELFIES" FACE FIVE YEARS IN JAIL

A social media trend that has gone viral is women taking "underboob selfies" and posting them online.

A trend that the military government in Thailand has warned its female citizens against partaking in as it violates the country's computer crime laws .

Thailand's 2007 Computer Crimes Act bans any material that causes, "damage to the country's security or causes public panic" or "any obscene computer data which is accessible to the public"

The Culture Ministry said anyone caught posting "underboob selfies" will be liable to 5 years imprisonment.

However, since the underboob selfies do not show faces it will be difficult to identify who owns the selfies.
