THE ELIGIBILITY SUIT BROUGHT AGAINST BUHARI ADJOURNED TO 22ND APRIL

The eligibility suit brought against Muhammadu Buhari, the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been adjourned to 22nd April, 2015  by a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja.

Justice Adeniyi Ademola, this morning adjourned the case brought against Buhari by a lawyer, Chukwunweke Okafor on 26th January 2015 asking for the disqualification of Buhari for not presenting his school certificate with Form CF001 submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to 22nd April, 2015.

The APC through the National Publicity Secretary, Lai Mohammed had earlier made a statement on rumours that Buhari might be barred from the elections just days before the election, warning against it.

With this adjournment, Buhari is certainly going to contest the Presidential elections coming up on Saturday, 28th March under the umbrella of the APC.
