WILL BUHARI BE FOURTH TIME LUCKY?

The election results released so far by the Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) has the two presidential candidates of All Progressives Congress(APC) Muhammadu Buhari and the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) Jonathan Goodluck leading in 13 states each.

The remaining 10 states are  Sokoto, Kebbi, Zamfara,Yobe, Borno, Adamawa, Edo, Delta, Benue, and Bauchi.

Following the pattern of voting from the results released by INEC, predictions have it that Buhari will win in a minimum of 6 states yet to be announced.

However, to win the presidential election in Nigeria, each candidate is supposed to win 25% in each of 2/3 states plus majority votes. Where no candidate meets these criteria, a second election will be held.

With more than half of the presidential election results released by INEC, Muhammadu Buhari is currently leading by about 2 million votes.

Nigerians will soon know if they voted for change or continuation of the Presidency of Nigeria.
