72-HOUR EXECUTION NOTICE GIVEN TO DRUG CONVICTS BY INDONESIA

Two Australians, Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran and a Filipino woman, Mary Jane Veloso convicted of drug trafficking have been notified by Indonesia's Attorney General's office on Saturday that their executions will be carried out within days.
The 3 convicts were moved to isolation cells and given a 72 hour notice which means that their execution will take place earliest, Tuesday or Wednesday.
The execution will be carried out in Besi prison on Nusakambangan Island.
However a total of 10 drug convicts are on deathrow awaiting execution. They are 4 Nigerians, 2 Australian men, a Filipino woman, one man each from Ghana, France and Brazil.
The French man, Serge Atlaoui is still awaiting the outcome of his legal appeal over the procedure in his request for clemency.
Indonesia is insistent on carrying out the executions despite international outcry as it says it is part of the country's "drugs emergency"
