AFCON 2017: HOSTS TO BE VOTED BY CAF

A replacement for original hosts of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2017, Libya who withdrew because of civil war will be voted on Wednesday by Confederation of African Football (CAF).

Algeria, Gabon and Ghana are vying to host the 2017 AFCON FINALS.
The three countries have previously staged the tournament and each has sent ministerial delegates to make last minute presentation to the committee before voting.

Draws for the qualifiers will also be done to include Morroco and Tunisia.
Morroco had initially been banned from taking part in the next two editions after they didnot host the 2015 but were reinstated after winning their appeal at the court of Arbitration for sports.

Tunisia escaped a ban after apologising to CAF whose governing body they had accused of bias.
