A number of Nigerian soldiers with the 3rd armoured division, Maxwell Khobe cantonment Jos, Plateau State were killed when a bomb exploded at the barracks on Saturday.
The dead soldiers were said to be reparking bombs at the armoury when the incident happened.
The Deputy director of Army Public Relations, Col. Texas Chukwu confirmed the incident but did not say how many soldiers died.
