EBOLA: 10 NEW EBOLA CASES FOUND IN SIERRA LEONE DURING SHUT DOWN

As health teams went from door to door during the shutdown in a bid to remind people on how to prevent Ebola, hundreds of sick people were identified on Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Sierra Leone.

However only 10 of these sick people tested positive to Ebola as confirmed by the Head of the country's Ebola Response, Alfred  Palo Conteh.

This shows that there are not a lot of hidden Ebola cases in Sierra Leone which is a great sign says Dr. Dan Jernigan of US Centre of Disease Control and Prevention.

Alfred Palo Conteh says, " Sierra Leone had conquered the Ebola disease and we are now at the tail end"

However, others feel that there is much to be done in the country to get rid of the Ebola disease which has killed over 10,500 people in West Africa.
