EBOLA: NICARAGUA QUARANTINES UNITED STATES EMBASSY STAFF AND ASKS FOR REMOVAL

The health ministry of Nicaragua has quarantined a United States embassy staff who travelled to Liberia and has asked the United States to provide a plane to remove him.
US Embassy acknowledges the man travelled to Liberia but he didnot come in contact with Ebola patients.
The Embassy says their 51 year old staff has been examined at the Centre for Disease Control and Prevention in the United States before returning to Nicaragua. He has no sign of haemorrhagic fever and both United States and Nicaragua's health ministries have cleared him.
Despite all these, the Nicaraguan government has asked the US State Department to send a plane 'with all the equipment necessary' to take him back to United States.
Head of Epidemiology at the Health Ministry, Carlos Saenz says, "The man confirmed he had spent time in health facilities where Ebola patients are being treated. The man does not show any symptoms of the disease and the measures are strictly preventive".
Some latin countries have banned travellers from ebola-stricken countries.
