EBOLA: WHO WARNS THAT MANY EBOLA SURVIVORS MAY FACE FURTHER HEALTH ISSUES LIKE EYE AND JOINT PROBLEMS


The World Health Organisation (WHO) has warned that many ebola survivors may face further health issues such as eye and joint problems.

Officials said they are attempting to set up clinics in Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia to monitor the health issues survivors face.

Patients have reported joint, vision and ongoing fatigue problems.

Dr Bruce Aylward, Assistant Director General, WHO said not much is known about the long term implications of the virus
