EBOLA: WHO SAYS PUBLIC HEALTH OF INTERNATIONAL CONCERN REMAINS IN WEST AFRICAN REGION


The World Health Organisation(WHO) just declared for the 5th time after re-assessing the Ebola outbreak in West Africa that the conditions for a Public Health Emergency of an International Concern(PHEIC) remains.

Exit screening are to continue in Sierra Leone, Liberia and Guinea though the overall risk of international spread has reduced since January.

Exit screening is to continue until human to human transmission has stopped in the entire region.
