Justice Adeniyi Ademola who is presiding over the matters at the Federal High Court in Abuja subsequently struck out the suits.
The lawyer for one of the plaintiffs, Chief Mike Ozekhome(SAN) said his client decided to withdraw the suit in order to give the incoming government time to focus on the enormous task of governance.
Dr Chike Amobi, the lawyer for the second plaintiff, Max Ozoaka also gave similar reasons for the withdrawal of the suit filed by his client.
Following this development, the only remaining suit on Buhari's eligibility to contest the elections was that filed by Ayakeme Whiskey(FHC/ABJ/CS/68/15).
Muhammadu Buhari contesting under the All Progressives Congress platform defeated the current President, Goodluck Jonathan who was seeking re-election under the Peoples Democratic Party during the 28th of March Presidential elections.
The plaintiffs had claimed that Buhari's inability to submit his certificate of academic qualifications contravened provisions of sections 131 and 138 of the 1999 Constitution and section 31(3) of the Electoral Act, 2010.
