President Goodluck Jonathan has queried and suspended the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Danjuma Sheni for allegedly prompting the recall of Nigeria's envoys to South Africa without due authorisation thereby causing diplomatic spat between the two countries.
Nigeria had earlier recalled two of its envoys from South Africa for 'consultation'. South Africa found this curious and unfortunate.
