Aisha Alhassan (APC candidate for Taraba State), Emeka Ihedioha (PDP candidate for Imo State) and Alex Otti (APGA candidate for Abia State) have all rejected the governorship election results in their respective states following the conclusion of the run- off elections on Saturday, 11th April as they claim they were characterised by irregularities.
Aisha and Alex say they will be heading to the tribunal to challenge the outcome of the elections while Emeka Ihedioha says he will leave the decision to challenge the result with the party.
Aisha Alhassan (APC) was defeated by Darius Ishaku (PDP) while Alex Otti (APGA) lost to Okezie Ikpeazu (PDP) and Emeka Ihedioha (PDP) was defeated by Rochas Okorocha of APC.
