GUNMEN STORM KENYAN UNIVERSITY

Masked gunmen have stormed Garissa University College near the Somali border in north eastern Kenya killing at least two people and injuring about 30.

The gunmen were said to be firing indiscriminately and fears of more deaths and injuries being recorded according to witnesses.

Troops have surrounded the university and engaging the attackers.

Somali Al Shabab have claimed responsibility for the attack and the militants have taken hostages.
