KENYA UNIVERSITY ATTACK: VICTIMS' BODIES RECOVERED AND SENT TO NAIROBI FOR IDENTIFICATION


Bodies of the victims of Al Shabab militant attack on Garissa University College have been recovered and moved to the capital, Nairobi for identification.

At least 147 people were killed and the motuarities in Garissa have been unable to cope.

Kenyan government has imposed a dusk to dawn curfew across north-eastern Kenya.

The  masked Al Shabab militants invaded Garissa University compound on Thursday, shouting, "we are al-Shaba", targeting christians on the campus.

Several students were able to escape by jumping over the fence. It took several hours for Kenya's security forces to overpower the militants who were cornered in a domitory.

Four of the militants were killed and one arrested.

Over 500 hundred students survived the attack and are being held at a military facility where they are undergoing counselling.
