An Igbo socio-political organisation, Ndigbo Unity Forum, NUF, has set a five-point agenda for the President-elect of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari as a means of pacifying the Igbos in all its ramifications,
Top on their agenda is the use of reputable Igbo people in his government, execution of the second Niger bridge project, as well as giving the eastern region another state.
In a press statement issued yesterday in Onitsha, Anambra State, the NUF asked for construction of a dual carriage way since most of the roads were single lanes and in a state of disrepair in the state.
NUF asked the President-elect to implement the national confab report as it will fortify unity.
NUF said following the transparency in the just concluded presidential elections in which Buhari emerged the winner, it had no option than to congratulate him.
"NUF is confident that the President-elect will give Nigerians the desired change that will steer the economic and security situation towards the right direction"
