Rapper Nelly was arrested for drug possession in Tennessee on Saturday, 11th April. Nelly's tour bus was pulled over by a state trooper for not having two required stickers. When the bus stopped, the state troopers smelled marijuana coming from the bus and decided to search the bus. Marijuana, meth, as well as multiple handguns were found in the bus.
Nelly was charged with felony possession of drugs. Another man in the bus, Brian Jones was charged with being a felon in possession of a handgun.
Nelly was later taken to Putnam County jail.
Both Nelly's Reps and Putnam County Sheriff's Department had not returned Billboards request for comments.
