NEW NIGER DELTA MILITANT GROUP EMERGES, BLOWS UP OIL PIPELINES

New Niger Delta militant group known as Urhobo Gbagbako has emerged . They sent emails to reporters claiming responsibility for blowing up NDPC oil pipelines at Ighrenene, Afiesere and Ekiugbo communities in Delta States.

The spokesperson for the group, Priest Omodjuvwu in an email sent to reporters said the group decided to blow up the oil pipeline due to the continued neglect of Urhobo militants in the pipelines protection contracts offered to other ex-militants from other ethnic groups.

The email from the Urhobo Gbagbako militants said, "We have now resumed attack on the NPDC pipeline facilities on a massive scale, which scale of bombings shall be unprecedented".
