N.CAROLINA MEDICAL CENTRE ADMITS PATIENT WITH MULTIPLE MEDICAL ISSUES WHO JUST TRAVELLED TO W.AFRICA


A North Carolina Medical Centre has admitted a patient with multiple medical issues who recently travelled to West Africa according to the hospital statement.
The statement also says that ''the likelihood that the patient is infected with Ebola is very low. However, we are treating the situation with due caution to protect patients, visitors and staff. After consultations with state and country public health officials, the individual will be tested for Ebola. The patient has been placed in a special unit that was prepared to treat possible cases of infectious disease and care is being provided by specially trained teammates".
The hospital spokesperson, Kevin Mccarthy says the hospital could have the results of the patients' ebola test this evening.
