POLICE UNCOVER BOMB FACTORY IN IMO STATE


The police command in Imo State said that it had uncovered a bomb factory at Umuokrika village in Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area.

The public relations officer, Andrew Enwerem said this while speaking to journalists in the state capital, Owerri on Thursday .
Andrew Enwerem said that acting on a tip-off, the police command raided the bomb factory in Umuokrika and two members of the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign States of Biafra (MASSOB) who are suspected to be the brains behind the illegal factory were arrested.

The two suspects gave their names as Love Davidson, a resident of Nguru in Aboh-Mbaise Local Government Area and Eze Charles from Nsukka in Enugu State.
Davidson is alleged to be the owner of the building where the bombs are being manufactured. 
The police recovered a drilling machine, tins of paint, gunpowder, threads, a bucket and a bore used as sharpnel.
