STAR TREK ACTRESS ALICE EVE DELETES SOUR COMMENTS ON BRUCE JENNER AMIDST SOCIAL MEDIA BACKLASH


Star trek actress Alice Eve, daughter of 'Walking The Dead' actor, Trevor Eve has provoked a furore over her comments on Bruce Jenner's statement 'for all intents and purposes iam a woman'.
Alice took to her Instagram to post, "Nope, if you were a woman, no one would have heard of you because women can't compete in decathlon" "You wouldn't be a hero, you would be a frustrated young athlete who wasn't given a chance" "Until women are paid the same as men, then playing at being a 'woman' while retaining the benefits of being a man is unfair" "Do you have a vagina?" "Are you paid less than men?" "then my friend, you are a woman"
Alice,33, is an Oxford university graduate and attended the prestigious Westminster school.
She has starred in blockbuster film franchises such as 'Sex in the City' and 'Men in Black'.
Many fans were angered by her comments and vowed to unfollow her on social media. Some called her transphobic, transmisogymstic.
After the backlash, she tried to engage her angry fans before deleting the posts.
She then wrote, "I do agree that the struggle of transgenders is unique and horrific".
