Two Non-governmental Organisations  have threatened to protest nude on 25th April when the run-off elections in Taraba state hold if the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Senator Aisha Alhassan , the woman governorship candidate in Taraba governorship race is intimidated.
The two Non-governmental Organisations are Ladies of Grace and Agape sisters.
Mrs Jean Onuh, the co-ordinator of Agape Sisters issued the threat on Friday while briefing journalists in Abuja on the Taraba State run-off elections.
Mrs Jean Onuh said,
"We would have remained quiet and very neutral but for our disadvantaged background and the clamour to sustain the goals set for Nigerian women in the post Beijing Conference.
"We dare warn of adverse consequences should the establishment known as the Taraba cabal insist on intimidating a female contestant in the race".
"We will mobilise hundreds of thousands of Nigerian women to protest nude on April 25, if any official behaves funny,"
Mrs Onuh called on all registered voters especially women to come out en-masse and vote for Aisha Alhassan. She urged the officials involved in Taraba polls to remain neutral.
