Hongkong actor Jackie Chan has said he supports the use of death penalty for drug offenders as drugs hurt thousands of children and also their families.
Jackie Chan's son Jaycee spent 6 months in prison in China after police found marijuana in his home and prosecuted him also for providing shelter for others to abuse drugs.
Jackie Chan was named Official Narcotics Control Ambassador by Chinese police in 2009 and he is also Singapore's first celebrity anti-drug Ambassador.
Both China and Singapore have adopted the death penalty for drug trafficking.
Asked about his son, Jaycee's time in prison, Jackie said he was shocked and ashamed and is now paying more attention to Jaycee.
