BREAKING NEWS: BOLLYWOOD STAR, SALMAN KHAN'S PRISON SENTENCE SUSPENDED

An Indian High Court has suspended Bollywood star, Salman Khan's prison sentence while he appeals his conviction in a hit and run incidence.
Salman Khan, one of Bollywood's biggest stars was sentenced  to five years in prison on Wednesday in a hit and run incidence that happened in 2002 that left a homeless man, Noor Ullah Khan dead.
Salman Khan had argued during his trial that his driver had been behind the wheels but the judge did not buy it and said the actor was driving under the influence of alcohol.
Within hours of his conviction, Khan was given an interim bail for two days meaning he stayed out of jail.
Many had expected that Salman would be jailed on Friday. This suspenson comes as a huge relief to him.
A final appeal will be held in July.
