BREAKING NEWS: BOMB BLAST ROCKS DAMATURU, CAPITAL OF YOBE STATE


Bomb blast rocked Damaturu, capital of Yobe State in the north eastern part of Nigeria around 11am on Saturday, 16th May. Eye witnesses say the bomb went off at a busy market near a crowded bus station killing 7 people and critically wounding about 27 others.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility but it bore the hallmark of the dreaded Boko Haram group.
