BRITAIN ELECTS YOUNGEST MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT IN 300 YEARS

Mhairi Black, 20, has become the youngest elected Member of Parliament in Britain in the last 300 years.
The last holder, Christopher Monck, 2nd Duke of Albemarie was 13 when he was elected as an MP in Devon in 1667.
Speaking after her victory, Ms Black said,
"Whatever you're views are on Scotland's future, I will seek to represent you to the best of my ability".
Mhairi unseated one of Labour's veterans, the former shadow foreign secretary, Douglas Alexander bringing an end to 70 years of  Labour rule in the area.
Many people have described Mhairi even before the elections as fresh faced, impressive, articulate and a firebrand.
Mhairi is also a keen musician outside of being a politician.
"The Scottish referendum changed everything for me. Once it came about, we thought this is a real chance to kind of change thing". Mhairi said.
A political hurricane has been sweeping through Scotland in the past few years and Mhairi is seen as part of that.
