FORMER EGYPTIAN PRESIDENT HOSNI MUBARAK JAILED 3 YEARS ON CORRUPTION CHARGES AFTER A RETRIAL


Former Egyptian President, Hosni Mubarak  has been sentenced to 3 years in jail for corruption charges after a retrial in the capital, Cairo.
Mubarak's sons were each given 4 years in the same case of  embezzlement of $14million which was for the renovation of the presidential palace.
The original conviction was overturned on January 13 over legal procedures.
This is the last case hanging over Mubarak who was toppled in 2011.
