GHANAIAN FORWARD ANDREW AYEW WINS BEST AFRICAN PLAYER IN FRANCE LIGUE 1

Ghanaian Forward, Andrew Ayew, 25 finished ahead of Ivory Coast's Max Gradel (Saint- Etienne) and Tunisia's Aymen Abdennour (Monaco) to win the Best African Player in France Ligue 1.
Andre plays for French side Marseille. He was picked by a jury of journalists and received the Marc-Vivien Foe Trophy handed out by French radio station RFI and TV channel France 24.
Andre says he is honoured to receive such a prize and that it was his hardwork this season for his country Ghana and French club, Marseille that resulted in the award.
Andrew hopes to even work harder. Andrew is the son of Abedi Pele who was three times African Footballer of the  year.
