NIGERIA: PDP CHAIRMAN ADAMU MU'AZU RESIGNS

The Chairman of the ruling party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Adamu Mu'azu has resigned as the national chairman.
His resignation is with immediate effect.
Mu'azu had been hounded by party chieftains especially the governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose to resign honorably as the party chairman following the dismal performance of the party during the last general elections held on 28th March and 11th April.
Mu'azu's deputy, Prince Uche Secondus takes over as acting National Chairman.
