PRESIDENT GOODLUCK JONATHAN SIGNS NEW CRIMINAL JUSTICE BILL INTO LAW

President Goodluck Jonathan has signed the Administration of Criminal Justice Bill 2015 into law.
The bill which was passed by the Senate on May 5 seeks amongst others to address the problem of delayed criminal trials.
Dr. Reuben Abati, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to President Jonathan confirmed  it on Thursday in an interview with journalists.
"The President has signed the Administration of Criminal Justice Bill 2015. He signed it same day he received it from the National Assembly. With that development, the bill is now an act" he said.
