He has been excused from training this week and final game of the season against Everton by Spurs Head Coach, Mauricio Pochettino.
Adebayor has made several allegations against his family members on Facebook, the latest being that his brother Kola held a knife over his throat just to collect money from him and he had several times contemplated suicide because of family issues.
There are concerns over Adebayor's mental state and it is hoped that giving him time off to return to his motherland will help him sort out his grievances and return pre-season training.
If his revelations are true, its really shocking!. Nobody should go through that.
