Perpetrators of violence before, during and after the recent governorship elections in Rivers State are in for hard times as the President-elect of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari has said, "We won't forgive or forget their evil act".
This Buhari said when the Rivers State Chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC) visited him in Abuja on Wednesday.
Buhari said,
"We will confront them with facts and figures. We will not forgive and we will not forget those who perpetrated killing and arson in Rivers State during the election. At least this is the much we owe Nigerians"
Buhari further said he owed the people a duty to ensure justice in the land and assured that every Nigerian deserved respect and dignity. He added that his government will not tolerate ''an army within an army'' and ''a police within the police''.
