NIGERIA: CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF SPEAKS ON OUTCOME OF SERVICE CHIEFS MEETING WITH PRESIDENT BUHARI

President Muhammadu Buhari met with service chiefs on Tuesday at the Defence House Abuja. After the meeting, Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Usman Jubrin spoke to state house correspondents and said the meeting was to brief the president on the current security situation in the country.
Rear Admiral Jubrin said since he was inaugurated as President and Commander-in- Chief, this is the first time they were formally meeting Buhari to give him a general security briefing of the country and it went well. "I think we have been able to provide insight into the security situation of Nigeria", Jubrin said.
On presidential directive to move the military command to Borno State, Rear Admiral Jubrin stated that military chiefs will go back and work on it and get back to the president.
